i have a system that i would think is more than capable of running KOTORII
    its a toshiba qosmio
    core duo 2 ghz
    1Gb ram
    dedicated nvidea 7600 graphics w 256 ram
the only possible issue i can see is i only have 20% of my 200Gbs of hdd free
and that i am running windows XP MCE

whenever i try to run the game, even at minimal settings of 800x600 with literally every other setting turned off, im lucky to get a frame every 4 seconds

what could possibly be causing this? any help would be appreciated because i have been unable to figure it out

ps i also dont think it is because i have too many other processes running
i tried shutting down most of the nonessential processes in an attempt to get the game working
i also updated my video drivers, along with my audio drivers
the game is patched to the newest patch

Is your video card an onboard (built into the motherboard)?
If it is then that might be your problem be cause your using shared system memory.

    it doesnt share
thats why i am so confused

i just installed KOTOR I too and it did the exact same thing
could it be a Lucas Arts issue?

my computer should technicaly be more than capable of running the games

Roll back video drivers, twice, not just once. That solved a ton of Bioware game issues for me. apparently, they're not important enough that nVidia cares to make sure their drivers are backwards compatible with their older Bioware games.
