Add/remove Programs Window Blank

    Hi all--First time posting here. Been running Win ME for several years with very few problems until now. Recently downloaded the latest version of McAfee antivirus and been having problems ever since. Get many errors on boot-up and BSOD several times. After several reboots I am able to work thru it. Boots into safe mode with no issues. Tried a system restore to a date prior to install but it will not automatically reboot and it fails. Was advised to uninstall McAfee and see if the problem clears but my add/remove programs window is now blank. This is a new one for me. Any ideas?

    Start -> Run
    type REGSVR32 APPWIZ.CPL
    click 'Ok'
