I am running Windows XP Professional SP3. About two days ago I started getting a error window stating "Creating of File Mapping Failed"

The error does not seem related to any particular program. It does seem occur most often when the monitor shuts down based on my power settings. When the monitor comes back on, the error is there. I can click "ok" on the error window but it pops right back up. Once I get the error, any images on the screen are frozen in place and I am unable to click on anything. Ctl-Alt-Del won't even open the task manager.

I have searched all over google and cannot find a solution. Any ideas?
