I need help creating a batch file which will pipe out the system variables to a text file daily.

    set | more >> c:\system_variables.txt

I also want to put in a time stamp in the file before the details are added to the text file.

Ideally when the batch file runs it will input the time/date and then the system variables without overwriting the details of the previous day.

    date/time
    system details
    date/time
    system details

    Any help appreciated

It would probably be easier to write a C++ program to do that and set it to run each day. (if you have access to a compiler...)
