I have noticed of late my PC is not as fast as it used to be so last night I got the bright idea of doing a full system scan using AD-AWARE rather than the smart system scan I usually do. Amazingly it showed up lots of infections and
PC is back to its old self. Obviously it is worth doing now and then even though it took quite a long time as I have a lot of files.:)

    HI

Yes I would say the same as you, on occasion its best to do a full scan with whatever scanner your using, but I would also advocate using a secondary scanner as a 2nd opinion as not all scanners pick up the same things and A-Squared is fairly good as a backup and tend to be much better than Ad-Aware as IMO Ad-Aware makes too much of cookies which are not an issue, but to increase its hits to make a user think its worth having it adds these as issues!

Also if you had infections and they were not listed as cookies then its wise to run the full READ ME and attach your logs.
