where can i find or launch regedit? am trying to use it

    anyone know where to launch regedit?

    am trying to do this

    1.1 launch regedit
    1.2 goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\CLSID
    1.3 find the key named "MiscStatus" that contains

    Name / Type / Data
    Data / REG_BINARY / 80 E6 DB FA 1F ................
    1.4 Delete the value (80 E6 DB FA 1F ...... *all)

    If you don't know how to run "regedit" then I would be very careful in the Registry as removing the wrong entry will cause Windows not to load properly.

    Before editing,modifying or adding entries into the registry I would recommend a backup just in case.

    You can download and install Erunt 1.1j to backup the registry.
