converting video files into audio files?

    Is their any way to do this? If so how do you do it? (Sorry if this is the wrong board)

    You sure can. I use an expensive program called Cool Edit Pro, but you will probably want a free program. I've heard good things about the freeware program Audacity. I haven't tried it myself but it might have the option of ripping the audio from video files.

    I use DVD Audio Extractor. Works extremely well. Will auto create a list of mp3's for something like a concert dvd (individual tracks) or if you want will make one long mp3, or wav for that matter. It isn't free, but it is good.

    It would not let me change a Windows Media Audio/Video file to an mp3 file.
