connection issue

    Why technical support do not use custom made software to troubleshoot windows hardware & connection issue and follow windows based torubleshooting procedure. for example, I have downloaded win ip config, which given information on connection ip addess straight away instead of normal going though of start--> run --> com-->ipconfig with technical support team.

    Er....what was your question?

    ipconfig is perfectly valid...more so than winipcfg, which is a GUI version of ipconfig and limited in usefulness.

    Most of the time if its an internet connection problem, they wont be able to go download extra random tools.
