Recently, I have experienced some odd issues with the Real-Time protection elements of the MS Anitspyware (beta) software. Without messing wtih the features the Real-time service agents have been de-activated and I am not allowed to activate them. When attempting to activate I receive the notice "Could not start the security agents". I also noted the agent checkpoints are displayed as active and can be individually de-activated. Have you heard of any issues regarding the above?

Some malware could be causing this or your installation may be corrupted.

I would uninstall it! Then reboot your PC. Then reinstall and update after the reboot. Let me know if it runs okay now.

Thanks, it worked. I also tried your suggestion with spybot and it fixed the "bad check sum" problem I was experiencing. Your wisdom is appreciated.
