I have a friend who has been going online with his somewhat new router, all of a sudden he can no longer go online, he has an AirLink 101 Super G router with roadrunner ISP. When he tries to connect the computer starts by detecting proxy settings, then processing settings for yahoo, then the router. Then it shows the router info page. and thats it. it never goes online. Please help.Thx

go into internet options, in control panel, open lan settings, uncheck detect settings auto
the router must have the dhcp on, and an address of 192.168.1.1
the computers on the network must get their dns autmatically.
    run, cmd, and type in
    ipconfig/all
see is the dns numbers are listed.
    if not, type in, ipconfig/release
then after the release, type, ipconfig/renew
