Warning: Spyware detected!

Hello! I'm very new to this site, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

i must have downloaded something, because from one instant to another, i got a desktop background that said, "Warning! spyware detected on your computer! Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer."

This is my computer information: Dell Vostro VOSTRO_400 Intel(R) Corel(TM)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz 1.98 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM

i have hijackthis installed i'll attach it.
