greetings ..i'm new..i need help with cardreader

sakar sd/mmc- i'm running windows 98se so i downloaded driver from sakar
then i had to download 7-zip to open it. that done i got to the point where it says setup exec and did that. so i think i got it downloaded. when i plug into usb port my computer says mass storage device detected, but wizard can't find the driver. i even found in windows downloaded installations where the driver seems to be, but install wizard won't let me specify that location.
any help would be greatly appreciated
