I am getting a new computer soon, which processor do you reccomend?

AMD 64 or P4 I am getting a computer for gaming but I am on a budget, I am 14 so i only make $100 a month with a lousy paperr route.Also what is a good computer brand? would you reccomend ibuypower.com, thier prices look pretty good for what you get.

I wouldn't consider a Pentium at the moment.

An AMD socket 939 coupled with an nForce 4 chipset motherboard would give you a great system.

 

well i had a p4 3.0 overclocked to 3.49ghz which was ok for gaming but ive just upgraded to an AMD 3500+ with a abit fatal1ty motherboard and a msi 7800gt graphics card ,,,,much better but probably above your budget, but in answer to the question for gaming i go amd
