combofix?

    Hi! I would appreciate feedback about combofix.exe. I tried to use the program, according to chaslang's instructions ("Malware removal guide"). The problem is that Panda Internet Security 2008 reports combofix as Potentially Unwanted Program (with a specific "code" I can reproduce if required). Eventually is it safe to use it?

    It is safe to use, some antivirus and antispy applications flag it simply because of it's nature in scanning/removing. If it's in our procedures or on our site then I assure you it's perfectly fine.

    I understand! I like to be sure on certain things as well. Like I said, if it's on MG's and we use it then there is no need to worry.
