    Hi I have a Lenovo Flip 14 running W8.1.

I am using a Mobile WiFi router with a SIM in and am suddenly unable to connect to the internet.

I have a full link to the router and it says I have internet access, but pages just come up unavailable and when I run diagnostics it says DNS server noy responding.

I can use my notebook and tablet on this system no problem.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks, Jan

Try opening an elevated command prompt and entering ipconfig /flushdns

Hi, tried that but it hasn't worked.

    When I troubleshoot I get
    * problem with wireless adapter or access point
    * the DNS server isn't responding

I am using a TPLink mobile wifi machine with a data SIM card, and it is working fine with my notebook and tablet.

My W8.1 laptop is picking up the TPLink OK, but no internet access.

    Thanks, Jan

OK, next try to update the driver for your wireless adapter. If possible do that on your computer manufacturer's website support pages rather than in Device Manager.
