i'm trying to view video's on megavideo.com-- it says i have to install adobe flash player to watch-- i've installed and uninstalled it 10--15 times as well as run cccleaner- but it still doesnt work- is there anything else i have to install that goes with the flash player?

Flash player works ok on other sites? (or from the Adobe website that it's verified it is installed and working?)

If it's verified and working then it could be megavideo requires cookies or possibly you have some type of ad/cookie filtering.

You say you uninstalled it to - did you use the Adobe flash player uninstaller? If not, do so as described here http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157

Then try a fresh install using this download (in case the one you already have became corrupt) http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=DXLUJ

Some Internet utilities, such as Norton Internet Utilities, perform functions similar to a firewall and may restrict viewing of ActiveX controls, and in some cases specifically blocking Flash content. You need to ensure that your firewall or utility settings are set to allow ActiveX controls and Flash (SWF) content.

Do you have your browser settings to allow the activex? Not sure what browser you are using to walk you through the options if you need assistance with this.

Also do you have pop ups blocked in browser settings? If so, run some malware applications to clean up and ask yourself if the site is one you want to be visiting if it does this to your PC (I am not familiar with the site to give an opinion personally).

firefox doesn't do activex, Internet explorer does, but it is best to view those videos with firefox.....and yes megavideo has lots of popups and ads, sometimes even clicking the play button will give you a popup. you might want to double check the site that you are getting the video files, and make sure they aren't dead links either...
