I have just installed puppy linux on an old pc.
I have have tried connecting to the internet using a belkin wireless dongle.... when it scans for available networks it shows a 5 or 6 but none of them are mine.

The belkin dongle connected the pc to my network when I was using windows xp but now puppy linux just wont pick my wifi network up.

    Can anybody help please????

Have you turned off "Broadcast SSID" in the router?

    Hi Dan!

Did your fix work from the forum you mentioned or the Orange Side Help Page? Puppy 5.0 is now based on Ubuntu 10.04 so this should work. ;)

My HP did not connect because the automagic button was orange instead of blue (internal wireless). It appears inks is attempting a dongle.
