IIS (Internet Information Services) has decided to be a pain. I'm running it on my personal computer to preview my website with ASP processing. I made the site to use SSI (Server Side Includes) and had them enabled in the ASP control panel. It works fine, but I can't get it to refresh the version of the file it is including. I updated the file, and it includes an old version that doesn't exist anymore. I tried stopping it and starting it over again and restarting my computer. Neither worked.

    I'm running Windows XP Professional.

go into the properties of the site. On the home directory tab, click on configuration. Uncheck "Cache ISAPI Applications". apply and stop and restart the service.. test. If successful, reapply the cache setting. The files you include with ASP should also have ASP extension. If they don't, make it so.

Weird, I don't see that checkbox... the only checkboxes there are Script source access, Read, Write, Directory browsing, Log visits, and Index this resource. Is Index this resource what I'm looking for?

should be on the bottom right on the home directory tab.

Still doesn't work... I hate ISS at times like this...

And yes, I did do it right this time... ;)

I finally managed to figure out what the tricky little thing was doing. I had a different version of the file stored somewhere else, and it was reading off it. The other version had the same name. Thanks for the help!
