importing text messages from phone to pc

Hi,

One of my friend's mom just got a new phone. And she wants to import the text messages from the old one onto her PC. I wasn't sure about how to go about doing this. Does anyone know of a program or a tutorial that could help me out? Thank you guys for any help in advance, it's really appreciated.

Oh by the way in case it matters her old phone was a blackberry. idk the model.

I use Dexrex. It is simple and saves my texts and sends them to email.

Is this possible somehow with Nokia N900?

As far as I know, Dexrex is not applicable to Nokia N900.
There is an application called glogarchive that allows you to do this from the phone itself. You may have a look at it:

I use an android app called "SMS backup" It backs up texts to email folders. There is an initial time investment if you have a large backlog to backup, but then it does it automatically.
