Is there a program available that will allow one to scan any form, show it on your screen, allow you to fill in the blanks, then print the completed form?

I am thinking that a program that simply shows the scanned form on my screen, then allows me to type anywhere over it like it was covered by a transparency, then print would be just what I need.

Is there anything like this out there?

Fine Reader is also good recognition program. I use it for recognition text docs.

Thank you for your replies. I have tried OCR programs in the past, but have not had one that was worth using. I will try the ones you've link me to and have another try at these OCR programs. Hopefully they will work better than the ones I've tried before.
