Hello, i am new to the website but i took the time to read the READ ME sticky of this sub-forum.

So, i recently had a problem while downloading a software that proved to be
a malware. My system is equipped with Norton Anti-Virus 2008 but it couldn't remove the malware and so i tried to find other solutions on the net but it seems there aren't any much else than manually removing files from the registry or formatting. I'd wish not to format if possible. Besides i cannot run my anti-virus in safe-mode.

    Here are my logs.

    And the last one.

    Thanks in advance,

The scans took care of most of it, let's just do this:

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Tell me what problems you are still having.

So far, so good, the procedure worked well, doing another SAS scan and anti-virus scan, will tell you the results in a few minutes.

Hurray, thank you a lot that worked, the anti-virus does not recognize any un-deletable malware anymore and so didn't SAS recognize any spywares or malwares. What do i do about my system restore now ? Should i turn it off again ? or leave it on ?
