I had SpywareGuard on my old machine, so when I bought my new HP I also put it on there. On my old machine had the icon located in the bottom right taskbar to show it was running. This isn't appearing on the new machine since download, and I can't figure out the option to click to make it do so. All protection is set to run within the software and I update and re-protect regularly. Can I assume it is running ok?

I think some of the newer versions of SpywareGuard either give you the option of the system tray icon, or don't show it at all anymore.

I would think it would show up in your task manager, or you can download this to see everything that is running:
