how do i get rid of webrebates, websearch, internet optimizer

could anyone help me, i found the files above and have been trying to get rid of them. i downloaded spybot search&destroy / pestpatrol and they cant find anything anymore. im trying to do a hijack log (first time) please help, my computer keeps freezing, i'll be glad if it doesnt freeze by the time i send this. thank you.

Look for them in Add/Remove programs and uninstall if found. If that does not help, follow the proper required procedures before posting a HijackThis log improperly. Your version of HJT has not been used for a long time (over a year).

Please follow the steps below:

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:
