New Computer

    I have a new dell inspiron, got on the dial up and came here first.
    I'm already getting errors, like trying to post and it says internet not found. I hope this doesn't post over and over.

    I wanted to know what's the best anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc. Should the win automatic updates be on?

    Firstly welcome to Major Geeks. :)

    That post you refer too pretty well still stands but if you wish look here too.

    As for Win updates - if you are happy to let all the updates be downloaded and installed then yes have it on. Personally I have mine download them automatically but then it has to check with me before they are installed.
