Problem installing Google Sketchup on XP sp3

When trying to install Google Sketchup on my XP sp3 machine I get the following error message:Prerequisite check for system component Microsoft Windows failed with the following error message:
"Installation of SketchUp requires Windows 7 or later."


See the setup log file located at 'C:\DOCUME~1\ROBERT~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\VSD4.tmp\install.log' for more information., even though I believe you are supposed to be able to install on this os. Can anyone help me with this, or am I mistaken? Thanks in anticipation.

 

Sketch Up Compatibility

This applies to SketchUp 2015 only; with older versions it should be fine. Accordingly to the link, anyway.

 

Hey rabhrab, solaris89 is right on the money. I just saw this post and called a friend that has the same problem and he echoed solaris89's answer.
