Firefox issues

I have a desktop and a small acer workbook. The workbook yesterday stopped loading Firefox properly. It opens with system restore, even though I cleaned with CCleaner, Wise Care 365 and System Ninja. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox three different times. It still opens with the same system restore. Within a few minutes the page goes pale and I get a popup saying Firefox is not responding.

Google Chrome works just fine, and Firefox works fine on my desktop.

I've reached the limit of my skill. I would sure appreciate any help.

Tough one, try a Firefox knock off. If you are running 64 bit try Waterfox.
Also please post your OS and system specs.

 

Running widows 7 basic. 32 bit.

 

I also did a system restore to a couple of months earlier. Did no good.

Type this in the run/search box

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode

this opens FF with no addons.
Does it launch? If so, then one of your addons is causing the problem.
