    Question (OS = XPpro-2002)...

    1. Go to 'Control Panel'
    2. Pick 'Folder Options'
    3. Pick 'File Types'
    4. Highlight 'File Folder' or 'Folder'
    5. Pick 'Advanced'
    5. 'Edit' and 'Remove' options are always grayed out for all 'Actions' whether added by me or already there

    How to remove/edit 'Actions' ???

How to set wexporer so folder bar will always show up when open wexplorer ?

    Steve
Tried regedit with some luck, but still have question about how to get the folder bar as a default view... control panel / folder options doesnt seem to do it.
Also, is there a way to set HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory folders (see image) with original values from XP install ?

You should be able to right-click and "open with" Notepad.
