hey guys, well i need a program that will help hide some programs like a keylogger. Why i ask you this? Well my dad wants me to see what my little brother is doing on the computer all day. He's 13 and my dad is suspecting of porn. I installed a keylogger on his computer and he can detect it. He asked me to remove it (he didn't know that i installed it) but i said i didjn't know how. Well is there a program that will let me hide other programs such as this keylogger?

    THank you guys,

If he is that savy, then basically anything you install he can detect, depending on his skill level.

Gotta say I almost admire the little guy.

He not only surfs porn sites but knows how to cover his tracks. I like him!

As I said it depends on his skill level.

If he has administration privelages, then there isn't a lot you can do.

Create a guest account for him.

If you want to see where he has been, you could download WINSPY and password protect it so he can't use or alter it.

If you want to limit where he can go, then certain web filtering programs like Net Nanny may help, but most aren't free.

If you have Internet Explorer, you can use the Content Advisor under Tools, Internet Options, then Content tab.

If you suspect porn, then some firewalls will log your web activity. I know that norton does and others may also. It wont stop him, but it will show your dad what he is visiting. Also if he uses IE check he hasn't cleared the cache, 'cos that will show almost every page and image that he has viewed even if he has cleared the history.

Most spyware programs have an ignore option. Have you tried it, or is your brother onto this trick?

Hmm, why not make a batch file to copy his cache folder just before he logs off (at a specific time) to somewhere you can get to and see what he's been looking at.

Er - the boy is 13 and growing up in the real world. He's also pretty bright! Why not a good heart to heart talk to him by his Dad.
Cheers all from a Dad and a Grandad
