I'm writing a guidebook with lots of photos and grahpics. (I've done 3 out of 50 chapters and have 20 Megs so far). I have no removable storage device so I have been backing up onto a compact flash card that I use to use in my old camera (only 32meg capacity). Any recommendations for something better?

Why not buy a DVD burner? You could then either burn on to CDs about 700Mb or DVDs about 4Gb. They're not the most expensive item in the world either. :)

Save each chapter as a separate document. Splits your files, and adds another safeguard. Burn them to CD or DVD or USB jump drive. Get a second hard drive, it does not need to be a big one. Probably a 5-10gig hard drive, from a secondhand computer seller, weekend market would probably do. Bigger capacity if you think you need it. Bazza
