Depending on the model, you may end up having to contact the manufacturer in order to clear it. Laptop bios passwords are harder to clear then desktop.

I tried the 3 backdoor passwords provided by the websites you provided, but they didnt work. I then tried to take the laptop apart to remove the CMOS battery, but I could'nt find it. Here is the site I used to help disassemble. Do you have any other suggestions. BTW Thanks

underneath the keyboard is a lithium battery pack plugged in with a small lead, unplug the lead and the bios will reset cmos settings, thats one way of doing it, but its one swine of a job to get at it . :D good luck anyway

Try a bios password cracker, there is one on the Ultimate Boot CD. But then you can't access the cd drive on boot can you. Thats a tough one.

Also keep in mind that ThinkPad from IBM locks both the hard drive and the bios with the same password.:)

Sorry, didn't read the entire post and see that you were using a Toshiba laptop!
