Ok, I just got a new ABIT motherboard, AMD Athlon 2900, CPU Fan which is made for the AMD Athlon 3000, and a 256 mb ram stick. When I go to install Windows 98, I put the CD into the CD-ROM, and it loads it. I go to install it, and the computer shuts off when I click install. It doesn't shut down, it's like the power cord was unplugged. I thought that maybe my 300 WAT power supply wasn't cutting it, so I bought a 400 WAT. And I'm still having the same problem. It does the same thing when I try to install XP or LInux, any OS I try to install doesn't work. I don't think it's the CPU fan cause I can go into the BIOS and the temperature says 127 degrees Farenheight. So than I thought I would try changing CPU Core Voltage, and now I can't even see anything on my monitor... This is a huge problem I'm having, and I hope someone can help me.

I did format the hard drive in the FDISK. The hard drive is fine, it's new too.
