Can't use laptop due to some kind of virus

I downloaded a file which was virus hecked and cleared. Oh no not clear at all.
Something has taken over my laptop bigtime. I turn it on and on the win 7 load up screen i receive a message i believe to be in malay (indonesian) and an email address. silent_cracker@yahoo.co.id and an OK button.

Hit ok and win 7 loads. No desktop just black screen, then 2 cmd windows open, saying that the network interface is not open would i like to do this now y/n. notepad window , titled boot.exe all info in foreign language. Notepad window, titled explorer.exe again all info in foreign. Google chrome window with 2 tabs open both saying "you're at risk" The name D-Cracker is also mentioned. Also i have managed to check the permissions in the notepad files and they have been changed so that i have no user rights!
I tried rebooting into safemode but that just turns black screen with continuos poping up on cmd windows. I have tried booting from kasperskys disk rescue 10, it boots but when i run the scans it fails everytime and also the update databases fails everytime. I wouldn't normal be that bothered it's just i have 2500 pics of my family on there that i want to atleast try and save. I have to say this seems to be quite an impressive hack/virus!

Please just ask for any other info that maybe useful.

Hi thanks for all your suggestions. I managed to save all my imported stuff using an xp live cd. I have sinve formated the hdd but now i can't seem to install windows. I have been trying to install xp home edition as i can't find my original vista disk which was the os installed when i purcased then laptop. I get all the way through and then it comes up with random error messages.

I have also repeatedly tried the ubcd4win disk and that too goes all the way until it comes up with a checksum error saying that the checksum does not match. It will however let me install Zorin but it's linux and im not used to that.

Any suggestions
