How to uninstall corrupted sofware?

I am trying to uninstall a software program in Windows 7 Home 64-bit
Control Panel>Programs and Features> Uninstall...It wont uninstall and i get an error message "program is corrupted, get another copy"
Same results when i tried Revo Uninstall to remove it
I downloaded a new copy of the software but it wont let me install it cause the corrupted one is still on the HDD. Catch 22 situation.
How can i resolve this problem?

What is the program?

 

If the program is malware, MalwareBytes is highly recommended. If not, deleting folders and editing the registry is more complex...

Somehow and after several tries I decided to resort to Windows System Restore and i got rid of it.

Thank you for taking interest in helping me.

 

Sometimes, reinstalling the app, then uninstalling that same app could fix this problem.
