Hi, I hope im doing this right

:cry I was sent here by a friend but i don't know if im doing this correctly. I'm not a computer expert in how to fix my computer and get a good malware protection. I can't even get my foxfire or google to work at all. I keep getting (foxfire)profile missing- cannot be loaded. May be missing or inaccessible. I am looking through the forum to see if there are any similiar threads like mine. I have a window vista pc and have no clue how to repair it.
