    Hello,

I have looked all over this site and can't find my exact problem. The other day my Windows Live Mail wouldn't open ... here is the error message:

Windows Live Mail could not be started . The application was unable to create the Internet Account Manager. Your computer may be out of memory.

Now Microsoft Essentials keeps giving me a warning that I am not protected.... .... I am a little slow so please be patient. I am not out of memory.
    It shows red.
I am going to start Read Me First Stuff. If you have another idea, please let me know.

    Vista 32 Bit
    Thanks,
    Snow

Neither my MSE is working and neither is my Windows Live Mail. With this error message:
Windows Live Mail could not be started. The application was unable to creat ethe Internet Account Manager. Your comp. may not have enough memory.
It has 2gb and plenty of memory. 0x80096010

    Please review my logs below

I attached all my logs but do not see them. I am sorry for not knowing what I am doing.

You are not having malware problems. Your logs were basically clean other than some minor MyWay adware.

Try posting in the Software Forum. But you could use another GB of memory in this PC. Of your 2GB, 128 MB is used for your graphics card which thus leaves only about 1.87 GB for your use. I recommend at least 3 GB for effective running of Windows.

It will do this if you have not updated the program and it may also do it if you have not run a scan for awhile. Take both of these actions and see what happens. If still having a problem, uninstall it reboot and then reinstall.

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. You can uninstall RogueKiller and HitManPro.
    2. Go back to step 6 oof the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

I will get another GB. My MSE stopped working at the same time as WLM. WSE is working now.

    Hi Chas,

Thanks so much for your patience and help. I have SAS Pro. Would you recommend having both MWB and SAS??? I will get another GB. My MSE is working great now... still the same bs with WLM. If I uninstall and reboot, will I lose my email folders and email???
I have gone to the "help' section to try and post in the Software area and can't figure out how to do it.

    Again,

Without you guys I would not have a computer... you are heroes!!:cool

    You're welcome.
Only one with realtime protection should be running. So if you have the pay version of SAS then only use the free version of MBAM as a backup scanner.

Are you talking about our Software Forum or something from Microsoft? Our's is at the below link and is no different than posting here in the Malware Forum.

    Software

You need to post there about issues with WLM. I don't believe an uninstall would remove email data unless you told it to do so but it would be better to ask in the Software Forum and also it is always advisable to backup your important info first.

You're welcome. Hopefully someone there can help. I would think a simple uninstall would not delete personal files/folders. It may even be possible that you could just download an install a newer version and perhaps that would fix your problem.
