I have an Asus P5GD1 mobo, maxtor 80 gig SATA HD. My board only has one IDE cable connector, so thats the one I use for my CD drive. My problem is that the cd drive is my Primary IDE master and my HDD is Secondary IDE master. Does this matter? I havent been able to figure out how to change this, it does this automatically. I tried chaging the jumper settings on the cd drive but nada. Need some help please.!

Is the comp working? If so don't worry about it. On the wife's comp, the boot drive (SATA) is the 3rd drive, but it still works.
