I have received a lot of emails asking how to post a new thread. Don’t be embarrassed, not everyone understands these message boards, but it is easy to do! We hope to help you with your problem, so here is how to ask for that help:

From the main page http://forums.majorgeeks.com/index.php? select the forum that you feel most applies to your situation. For example, select Software, Hardware, Malware, Etc. Don’t worry if you are unsure, one of us will move it to the proper forum if you post in the wrong forum.

Now, look for the new thread button located near the top right of the screen. Press the Post New Thread button and type in a topic that best, briefly describes your problem followed by a longer description in the larger box. As much information as you can provide is helpful, including your computer specifications, if you know them. At the same time, be careful not to ramble on and use paragraphs where needed.
