Data Redundancy Check?!?! HELP!

    Whenever I try and install "The Sims: Hot Date expansion pack" data redundancy check comes up & the installation aborts...
    PLEASE HELP!

    i know that error lol have you tried to clean the cd? i only get that when the disk is dirty or messed up. did you just buy it? how does the cd look?

    ive had the CD for about a year or more, but now its saying i have to have "livin Large" expansion pack, which i have but is a bootleg version...
