rundll32.exe Failed to initialize Application Error

I am new to the site so bear with me. I just bought an Iphone and tried to download the newest version of Itunes. The download did not complete and when I re-booted the following errors occurred:
1. RUNDLL32.EXE Failed to initialize
2. rnndll32.exe Failed to initialize
3. stsystra.exe Failed to initialize
4. ccApp.exe Failed to initialize
5. Reader_sl.exe Failed to initialize
6. mobsync.exe Failed to initialize
7. ctfmon.exe Failed to initialize

I cannot use any of my programs. Adobe 8, Microsoft Word, ect. all give me failed to initialize errors.

I cannot use the add/remove programs function in the control panel.

I am starting to panic. Please help!! I know that you probably need more information so please let me know exactly what to record.
