Hello I did search for this nasty piece of malware before I started this post so please forgive me if I am duplicating a thread.
A friend bought his laptop to me last night infected with Surfvox I tried all the usual anti virus/malware checks but they didn't work.
It prevents access to settings so we cant even start it into safe mode, after several hours of getting nowhere I told him I would try and find a solution.

Is there a simple way that we can get rid of this?
Any advice gratefully received. Thank You

    Hi there. :)

May I ask how you did this if you said the machine will not start up in any mode? :confused

No as I said we cannot access the PC settings and therefore cannot put it into SAFE MODE or indeed reinstall browsers such as firefox, oprea or chrome which were removed as my friend thought that the malware was due to one of them.
