COD5 Black Screen Wont Load

For the last month my PC keeps freezing after so long of playing and we realised it was a over heating issue which was causing it to freeze. I now play for about an hour before it crashes, have to hold in the power button and then restart it. BUT the other day it wouldnt start (the PC) so I had to leave it a while to cool down and then start it up again. Now COD5 wont start. I click on the COD5 Multiplayer icon, starts up but just get a black screen and cant CTRL ALT DELETE or anything.

Any ideas?

If it's overheating then it's overheating (I just had this exact problem), you need better cooling and may have fried either grphics or cpu.

What are your system specs?
