I keep on getting pop ups from z1.adserver.com I looked it up and it said that it was adware. All of my antispyware tools including the ones from run and read first showed up negative- no spyware. I am really confused. I need help:eek:

Did you do what was instructed in your previous thread???

See what I last posted to you in your first thread:

    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=87350

Did you complete the steps in the How to protect thread as instructed?

Is this the same PC that you posted another message on that you said was running slow. This is the thread I'm referring too:

    Computer running slow!!!

You should remain in one thread. Posting multiple threads for a PC will waste everyones time.

Have you installed HijackThis properly yet? You never followed step 7 of the READ ME last time.

    I repeat!!!
The answer is no you did not!

    Also answer questions:
The answer to this is also no. Please complete those steps now.

You also need to run PandaActiveScan from step 6 of the READ ME and attach the Panda log.

Then AFTER getting HijackThis install properly, attach a new HJT log and tell me your current status.

    Hi,

Most of the pop ups are under control except for this one called adbuyer3.lycos.com- WebSearchResults. I get this everytime I am on angelfire. When I am on internet explorer it doesn't pop up because I have this pop up blocker that is only IE capable. The pop up usually shows up in Mozilla Firefox which is the browser I use. I can't seem to get rid it because most of the pop up blocker ar mostly IE capable. I was wondering is their any way I can get rid of this pest. Is it malware?

    Thanks,
    Tea

I cannot help you until you respond to my previous message and questions. Also you never completed all the steps in the READ & RUN ME. If you do not answer questions, we cannot help you. You must help us to help you my following instructions, answering questions, and providing feedback on the instructions we give to you (like how they worked, did you have problems, etc).

In additon since you now waited 12 days to respond, you need to do what ever you may have already started from the READ ME (if you did any of it) over again from the beginning. In 12 days much can change and spread.
