    Aloha,
I have 2 'puters, both with WXP-SP2 wired up via a Linksys router. Both systems have been networked with Win Network wizard. Both 'puters use Zone Alarm as the Firewall and each is listed by IP address within the ZA firewall on each to permit access. Both 'puters can ping each other and get back all packets. 'puter A has access to all of B's shared files. When I attempt to access A's shared files from B, I receive an error message that B does not have permission to access A's shared files.
    I'm confused and need help...thanks

Double check Windows firewall to make sure it's not on.
Do you have the same user account/password on each computer? Log in at least once.
    Hope that helps.

    Aloha,
Its been a while since I checked in on this problem...
Windows firewall has been disable on both machines.
The user account on Computer A is a combination of my wifes and my name, while the user on Computer B is solely my name. We don't use passwords on either machine. When the logon dialog box appears we just hit enter. On both machines, the logon access is Administrator. The guest account is also turned off on both machines.
    How should they be configured???
