windows defender

I turned off windows defender a few weeks ago, and have ben getting this message everytime I turn on the system. Can anyone tell me how to turn it off.? Here is a screen shot And thanks for the help

 

Not sure how you disabled it. Just did it on a Vista tablet. No pop up on boot or any flag from Security Center either. Undo what you did and try the following the video, in this link.

I disabled it, thru.... .msc . I did it intentionally because of my PS3 hooked up to my PC via ethernet with shared internet connex. It only works with def turned off. I'm trying to disable that stupid message

 

Do you mean you disabled from- Start> Run> services.msc.>Window Def ? That seem to be the issue.
Set it back to automatic. And then disable from Control Panel as per the link.

Next time you check on services it will read as auto but stopped.
