Archived file edit + keeping path info

    I'm looking for some software that will allow me to edit/update file in an archive so that the path info remains intact.

    At the moment winzip will let me update the file but loses the path info - any ideas (preferable freeware) will be most welcome.

    Im not sure if they will do what you want but there are 2 excellent freeware zip programs available. Ive tried them both.

    TugZIP is on this site (MGs) :-

    7ZIP is available at its homepage (couldnt find it here)

    You will have to see if they do what you want as I am unsure. Hope they work for you. ;)
