FreeWare math program/calculator?

    I have been playing around with the Wolfram website and really like it, but it's only online, and in order to get the upgraded version I have to pay monthly(or whatever). What I really want is a high quality math program that is either freeware or has a one time payment option I can have the download of and use offline.


    This supposed program would go into depth on how it reached it's answer like Wolfram does.


    Any suggestion?
