W7 Repair install sticks on Services

    W7 Repair install sticks on Services

    Hi,

    Tried to do a repair install of W7 Ultimate and all went well until a message saying that the install had failed at "starting services".

    Windows returned the PC to its former state before the attempted repair install.

    I have full access to everything on the PC but want to do the repair install as the system has been running for over 3 years on the original install.

    Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.
