    Is there a general forum index? I would like to post a very simple tutorial on using "google scholar" - I want to be able to refer friends to it.

    When I post like this can a moderator quickly identify me? Is there a way I can specifically ask a moderator a question?

    Is there a forum or thread for "What is this?" eg, I get a message several times a day entitled "Error Console" - I don't really understand the answers or where this message is coming from. Is it coming from some cleanup program I might have installed? Is it malware? Is it something that I can trust? If so, how do I use it?

    Sadly NO we dont host guide for others on our forum, if you wish to create and post a guide on the internet for others to view then this is a great free way to achieve this http://pages.google.com/ allows you to create and publish your own webpage.

    Admins and Moderators will note all posts for content, but why would they specifically wish to identify you?

    Yes their is a list of Forum Leaders at bottom of Main Forum Page with all admins and moderators listed.
