Insufficient System Resources

    How does one correct this and where did it come from and what caused it.
    I'm using XP home SB2, and I leave the computer on 24/7 and this morning it was off and when I booted up I had no desktop no programs can't get into the hard drives. Whats up::??? Reformat God Forbid

    Can't get into any programs to see what works, I'm surprised I can get online with gmail, but thats all I have no email and all the programs from the start are empty, and have no Idea where to find restore. Thanks

    Can you get into safe mode? Could do a system restore there ....do you have your xp disk?

    Nope I couldn't get into safe mode, or get into restore. I had an extra hard drive and re-installed xp lost alittle but not all. The addy's in the emails were the biggest loss, but that puttering I recon ...........Thanks
