Building a computer

hey you guys, i need help... i really wanna build or get a new computer to play HL2 and CS Source went that come out... i wanna play with the eyecandy on max and everything... does anyone kno where i can buy parts or a computer for them games to run at max gameplay real cheap? i have like $500 to start out rite now, dont have a job since of school taken all my time, but i get like $20 a week for babysitting thou... i need help!! oo ya i have a graphics card I THINK im goin to buy since overcooked said it was a real godly one and it was real cheap, so anyone kno where i can buy parts or a comp for $500? (prob not) or somethin around that like from $500 - $750 ... or somethin close maybe ???

oo ya... i got my lil LED blue fan in my lil family comp yesterday, since it only cost like 8 bucks .. 1st part i ever put it and when i got it all in tryin to get it all perfect and i turned my comp on and BAM the LED blue fan was shinny!! i was like wee im too good ! i love it!

surf some gamers forums for motherboards and CPU's,, if you are going to be gaming online,, a fast link also helps, most 56kmodems lag in time for online stuff

aight, well does anyone kno like what all parts i need for a comp in the price range i have to play them kinda games? and FINNALLY! in computer repair class i took a computer apart and it back together!!!! the only problem i had was with the LED POWER ones and SW and them kinda cables... i was kinda just a hit and miss but it was still kool!!
